Starting in the 1980’s water started rising and filling previously dry sloughs and lowlands creating hundreds of new fishing opportunities within an hour of Lake Peston. In addition, existing lakes became much larger as well making for endless fishing and hunting opportunities. Many of the new fisheries are not easily found and although filled with fish, the bite often goes in streaks. Imagine not having to spend your limited time wandering between bodies of water in search of active fish or hauling your boat and all your gear and trying to launch it off a road or needlessly joining the crowd at a public launch based on yesterday’s news. Let our team of dedicated guides take you hassle-free fishing. Our guides are on the water seven days a week, weather permitting, and know what’s hot and what’s not. Fishing is available 365 days a year, and in the Fall upland and waterfowl hunting opportunities as well, with the possibility to enjoy both in a single day. Regardless of the season or whether you want to go it alone or treat yourself to a guided trip, we offer comfortable lodging in Lake Preston with our own hotel as well as a private home for rent that sleeps up to eight.
